Professional Freshness Products and Services Provider 'BBFresh' Secures Millions in Angel Funding

BBFresh is actively developing new products and advancing global expansion plans.

Lifestyle brand BBFresh, specializing in freshness-preserving products and services, announces it has raised millions of RMB in an angel round financing, primarily from individual investors. Funds will be allocated to new product R&D, innovative marketing, and other strategic initiatives.

In recent years, growing consumer focus on healthy lifestyles and eating habits has spurred rapid development in related industries.

While emerging kitchen brands like air fryers, ice cream makers, and popcorn machines are replacing traditional cookware as top choices for young consumers, most home brands in the more universally used freshness container sector still rely on low-price strategies or traditional sales models, with limited innovation in core technology or brand experience.

Founded in early 2022, BBFresh has chosen the freshness products vertical as its entry point, aiming to "revolutionize the freshness category and redefine the market." Starting with freshness containers, the brand has established strategic partnerships with suppliers to redesign products and enhance brand differentiation.

BBFresh’s current product line focuses on stainless steel freshness containers, crafted from medical-grade 316L antibacterial stainless steel. Features include health-focused antibacterial properties, durability, portability, rapid cooling/heating capabilities, and multiple sizes to suit diverse usage scenarios.

With over 20 SKUs priced between 40-200 RMB, products are already available on Tmall and scheduled for offline distribution in major supermarkets. Overseas expansion plans cover sales in ten countries/regions.

Led by founder Li Zhongheng—a renowned brand strategy and marketing expert with over a decade of industry experience and advanced supply chain integration capabilities—BBFresh’s core team comprises veterans from top domestic brands, bringing deep industry expertise and resources in design, operations, and marketing.

The traditional freshness products industry faces acute pain points: minimal product evolution in a decade for consumers, rigid supply chains with low profit margins and limited R&D motivation, and a lack of dominant domestic brands (overseas players like Tupperware and Lock&Lock currently lead).

"Within this traditional sector, we aim to leverage our industrial resources and brand operations expertise to build a leading freshness products brand," Li Zhongheng said.

Strategically, BBFresh has achieved deep supply chain collaboration (with manufacturing partners as strategic investors) to optimize efficiency and profit margins. On the brand front, it prioritizes social network engagement and cross-brand partnerships to foster user community dynamics.
